I did experience some hesitation towards the beginning stages of the move... communication was not great and I felt like I was a little bit in the dark around what was happening with our stuff. For example, when they movers came to get our stuff, I still had not heard any estimate of when our stuff would arrive at our new home, and then felt like my phone calls to find out were ignored. The two movers who came to load everything also were not very knowledgeable and could not answer any questions, which was a little concerning.
The actual weight was approximately 2,000 pounds less than the estimate which saved me almost $1,000.00 off of the final invoice. Always go and watch the truck being weight before and after they load the furniture. This will save you money. Warner's Moving company is a great company .
HOWEVER, I did hear back the day after our stuff was picked up with an estimate of when the Atlas Van Lines driver, who Warners had contracted out to because they did not have a truck available for such a long move with so little stuff (we were moving into a 2 bedroom apartment). Our stuff arrived 8 days after it was picked up, which is what we were hoping for.
If I could give this company a "0" , I would. They showed up late, or not at all, complained the whole time about their bosses, refused to take off muddy shoes, broke multiple, furniture items (which they would hide in closets), managed to brake/tear/crush more than 50% of our boxes and bins, and the list goes on. When attempting to contact the company, phone calls would only be taken if I insisted on waiting on the line. After 6 months, they finally sent a repairman who managed to get wood stain on walls, carpeting, and bed covers. Need I say more... Pictures are available on request.
Can't thank Warner's Moving & Storage enough for their superior service. Andrew and his crew were extremely courteous and hard-working. Joe's estimate was spot on and very fair. I would recommend Warner's to anyone who needs assistance with moving. Thanks again!
Though I felt uneasy at certain points, overall everything worked out great. Our stuff arrived on time and only one wine glass, out of all of our things, broke during the move. I WOULD recommend Warners Moving & Storage.
Charged us way more than the quote - our home was less than 1300 sq ft and all of the appliances stayed. We were promised 3 movers - we got 2 movers and a driver, which took longer, hence the higher price. Boxes were clearly labeled and placed in incorrect rooms, 2 dressers were heavily damaged and they never responded to my claim letter. Do Not Use!
After searching around a lot for a moving company to move our stuff from Pennsylvania to New Mexico, we decided to go with Warners because they gave us the lowest estimate. While they did go over the initial estimate, the final price was still cheaper than many of the other estimates we had gotten.
This company is customer focused. They allowed me to watch the weighting of the furniture to enable me to obtain the actual weight versus the estimated weight which the salesman Joe Allen gave me at my house.
